Molalla RiverWatch, Inc. Board Meetings are open to the public and held the 2nd Tuesday each month, 7 PM at the Molalla River Resource Center Office, 103 South Molalla Ave., Molalla, Oregon 97038. Occasionally these meeting days change so please call Kay Patteson, 503-824-2195 or email Email: to confirm meeting dates.

April 17 – Saturday, EarthDay Molalla River Cleanup and Corridor Enhancement
   Meet at Feyrer Park at 9 AM
   River Cleanup, Molalla Corridor Restoration Planting, and Trail Work
   VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
   BBQ at Feyrer Park in the afternoon!
   This is part of the state-wide 2010 SOLV IT program. Volunteers may sign up on the SOLV website at http://www.solv.org/programs/solv_it.asp. Click on “Volunteer” then the “Register Now” link next to the "Molalla River Cleanup & Corridor Enhancement." Registration/waiver forms will also be available at Feyrer Park.

March through June – Student Field trips to Aquila Vista Environmental Education Area

July 10 & 11, 2010 (Saturday & Sunday) – Molalla's Wild River BBQ CookOff
   Clark Park, 815 Shirley St., Molalla, Oregon 97038, next to the Buckeroo Grounds.
Molalla River Watch will conduct guided tours from Clark Park through the beautiful Molalla River Corridor.

July 27 - 29, 2010 (Tues. - Thurs.) – Molalla River Fly Fishing Camp
   Camping and fly fishing in the Molalla River Corridor
   For youth ages 9 - 16
   Tuition $275 - All food, camping, and fishing gear provided.

August 29 – Sunday, Horses, Hikers and Mountain Bikers Poker Ride/Hike
   Hardy Creek Trailhead – Molalla River Corridor
   Registration 9 am to 11 am
   Grand Prize $100 for best Poker Hand other prizes will be raffled.
   Fun for the whole family! Funds go to trail maintenance and improvement projects.
   BBQ lunch and t-shirts available.

September through October – Student field trips

October 16 – Saturday, Fall River Cleanup and Final Trail Work Party
   Meet at Feyrer Park, 9 AM
   River Cleanup to remove litter and garbage from the Molalla River Corridor and other public access sites.
   MRW has adopted 12 miles of the Molalla River through the SOLV Adopt-A-River program.
   VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
   BBQ at Feyrer Park in the afternoon.
   Bring gloves and wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
